Here is a jigsaw that I also found on amazon.com, but it needs a transformer and foot pedal. It ends up costing more, so I have to ask, which one would I need and use more often?
The transformer costs almost as much as the saw does. I think I will go with the scroll saw for now.
I got some new ideas and inspiration for my dollhouse items. I love lamps and made a couple of lamps that will light up when a bulb is attached to the little plug unit. I will take pics of the lamps and also the new idea for lamps came from a memory I had of a picture we had in our house. We had a picture lamp. It was a rectangle shape and hung on the wall. It had a switch you could turn on and off, and the bulb hid behind the picture. It was a lighted picture and that is what I am in the process of making as well. I have some ideas for making more Tiffany style lamps too. When my lamp store is finished, I will make a room for it and will have all the different lamps displayed. Probably will need to get several little dollhouse sized plug in strips and bulbs with attached cords and plugs.
This has to be attached also to a transformer (what is it with dollhouse equipment and the need for transformers?). The transformer should be attached to a regular electrical strip because the fuse could blow if it is just plugged into the wall (I don't understand this, but I contacted the company and this is what they told me).
Transformer needed for dollhouse electronics
Here are some books on dollhouse lighting. I would also like to make ceiling fans and wonder if there are any directions for how to make those.
